Release Considerations

This functionality is available to a limited number of clients but may be generally available at a later date. If you want to use this functionality, contact your Cerner representative.

The event timeline allows you to visually view start and stop events and general events in the Timeline cloud component. You can select and deselect events and event lines.

Start and Stop Events

Complete the following steps to view start and stop events:

  1. Select the rectangle icon on the timeline. The Event Timeline Controls pop-up box is displayed.
  2. If you want to display the Events and Event Lines icons for start and stop events, select the Events and Event Lines check boxes in the Start/Stop section.
  3. If you do not want to display the Events and Event Lines icons for start and stop events, deselect the Events and Event Lines check boxes in the Start/Stop section. 

General Events

Complete the following steps to view general events:

  1. Select the pennant or arch icon on the timeline. The Event Timeline Controls pop-up box is displayed.
  2. If you want to display the Events and Event Lines icons for general events, select the Events and Event Lines check boxes in the General section.
  3. If you do not want to display the Events and Event Lines icons for general events, deselect the Events and Event Lines check boxes in the General section.
