Release Considerations

This functionality is available to a limited number of clients but may be generally available at a later date. If you want to use this functionality, contact your Cerner representative.

Complete the following steps to navigate the timeline:

  1. In the Navigation section, you can click or tap and drag the timeline to display different time frames. When you release your mouse or finger, the timeline updates.
  2. You can click and hold to drag the timeline to a new time frame. You can also use the Forward (> or >>) and Backward (< or <<) buttons to move the timeline forward or backward based on the currently selected time interval. When you click or tap these buttons, the component shifts to the new date and time.
  3. When you click or tap the double-arrow Backward << button, the timeline displays one time frame further in the past based on the current time range.
  4. When you click or tap the single-arrow Backward < button, the timeline displays the next interval in the past based on the current time range.
  5. The Return button allows you to display the time frame that was displayed at the time that the Timeline cloud component was last loaded.

    Note

The Return button is disabled when the Timeline cloud component is initially loaded or refreshed.
  6. When you click or tap the single-arrow Forward > button, the timeline displays the next interval in the future based on the current time range.
  7. When you click or tap the double-arrow Forward >> button, the timeline displays one time frame further in the future based on the current time range.
