Medication Response Activities

The MAR component displays pending medication response activities. This includes overdue and pharmacist rejected medication response activities.

Overdue Response Activity

Displayed for all overdue scheduled medication response activities for the order. 

Pending Response Activity

Displayed at the scheduled date and time of a pending response activity for the order.

Pharmacist Rejected Response ActivityDisplayed for the pharmacist rejected response activities for the order when an order is currently pharmacist rejected.

Pending Administration Response Activity Pop-Up Box

When you select the response activity indicator in the timeline view in the Medications Administration Record component, a pop-up box is displayed with the data that is pertinent to the selected item:

  • Pending Administration Response label
  • Response activity name
  • Activity indicators (includes Pharmacist Rejected and Overdue)
  • Due date and time
  • View additional details link; when clicked the Response Activity Details pane is displayed for the response administration activity

Response Activity Details Pane

The Response Activity Details pane can be accessed from a response activity pop-up box or Activity pane response activity list item. The Response Activity Details pane will display details related to the selected response activity. The pane will contain the following details:

  • Order mnemonic
  • Clinical Display Line
  • Pending Administration Response label
  • Response activity name
  • Order and activity indicators, when applicable (includes Pharmacist Rejected and Overdue).
  • Due date and time of the activity
